Entry Requirements
Leaving Certificate with 5 passes or Leaving Certificate Applied. Mature students will be considered based on a proven interest in the relevant area and may be subject to interview/portfolio

Duration
One Year - Full Time Study or Two Years - Part Time Study (Min 4 Modules)
Course Structure
Consists largely of studio based project work. A miniumum of 10 days work placment must be completed. There will be an end of year Exhibition of Work
Career Options/Progression
With your full FETAC certificate in Art, Crafe and Design and a high standard portfolio you should be able to progress to further studies at Institutes of Technology/Universities and NCAD. Alternatively you may go directly into employment in the areas of fine art, craft, graphic design, photography etc
Evaluation
You wil be evaluated by continuous and final assessment of portfolio
