Leaving Certificate with 5 passe or Leaving Cert Applied. Mature students will be considered based on a proven interest in the caring profession. Entry may be subject to interview/assessment & depends on satisfactory completion of an induction programme & Garda Vetting.

| Career Options/Progression |
|
|
Holders of a FETAC (NCVA) Level 5 Certificate in ChildCare may enter employment in creches, play schools, special needs or a classroom assistant. You may also progress to further study at Institutes of Technology/Universities. Alternatively if you have sufficient practical experience in childcare you may also progress to the FETAC(NCVA) Level 6 Supervision in Childcare programme. |
