Leaving Certificate with 5 passe or Leaving Cert Applied. Mature students will be considered based on a proven interest in the caring profession. Entry may be subject to interview/assessment & depends on satisfactory completion of an induction programme & Garda Vetting.

| Career Options/Progression |

|
Holders of a FETAC (NCVA) Level 5 Certificate in Community & Health Services may progress to nurse training or onto further study at Institutes of Technology/Universities. Alternatively you may directly enter employment within the caring profession as a nurse's aide, care assistant or special care assistant. This course can also enhance your qualifications and career prospects if you are an existing worker. |
