| Entry Requirements |
This is an Advanced Certificate course for those who have completed the FETAC Level 5 Childcare Award or equivalent. Mature students will be considered based on Work Expereince and a proven interest in the childcare profession. Entry may be subject to interview/assessment & depends on satisfactory completion of an induction programme & Garda Vetting.

| Work Experience within a range of childcare settings forms an integral part of the course. If you have already a childcare qualification or currently work in childcare, this course will enhance your knowledge and skills. |

| Career Options/Progression |

Holders of a FETAC (NCVA) Level 6 Certificate in Supervision in ChildCare may enter employment in a supervisory role in creches, play schools or special needs schools. You may also progress to further study at Institutes of Technology/Universities. |
