| Emphasis on practical work in approved hairdressing salons. You will be required to purchase a uniform and professional work kit. |

| Career Options/Progression |

Holders of a FETAC (NCVA) Level 5 Certificate in Hairdressing may progress to further study in th hairdressing field or to employment as a trainee in the industry. Successful completion of the City & Guilds Diploma could lead you to a career as a Hair Stylist, Colour or Perm Techniciam, Sales Rep for hairdressing products etc |
