| Course Structure |
|
|
| Practical field studies and lab work will form an integral part of the course and may take place at a number of locations including Ballybay Wetlands Centre and Tanagh Outdoor Education Centre. A minimum of 10 days Work Placement must be completed. |

| Career Options/Progression |
|
|
Holders of a FETAC (NCVA) Level 5 Award in Applied Ecology may progress to further studies on selected courses at Institutes of Technology/Universities. Alternatively you may enter employment in fields such as forestry, fisheries, park management, water resource mgt, agriculture etc |
