| Coaching/Practical training sessions will be completed throughout the year. There will be additional costs involved for specialised training/gym membership. Work Experience forms an integral part of the course. |

| Career Options/Progression |

Holders of a FETAC (NCVA) Level 5 Award in Sport & Recreation may progress to further studies on selected courses at Institutes of Technology/Universities. Alternatively you may gain direct access to the Leisure Industry at junior assistant level in leisure centres, swimming pools & health centres or as an assistant coach/instructor. |
