| Course Structure |
|
|
| This course focuses on a range of science related subjects. Practical Lab sessions will form an integral part of the course. A minimum of 10 days Work Placement must be completed. You will be required to purchase a lab coat and scientific equipment kit. |

| Career Options/Progression |

Holders of a FETAC (NCVA) Level 5 Award in Applied Science- Laboratory Techniques may progress to further studies at Institutes of Technology/Universitie in a range of Science related area or directly enter employment as lab assistants. This course is very suitable if you wish to prepare for a Science degree or if you require a Science subject to progress to further study. |
