| Course Structure |

|
| Practical Field Studies and lab work will form an integral part of this course and may take place in a number of locations including Ballybay Wetlands Centre and Tanagh Outdoor Education Centre. A minimum of 10 days work placement must be completed. |

| Career Options/Progression |
|
|
Holder of the FETAC L5 Award in Applied Ecology may progress to futher study at Institutes of Technology/Universities in a range of ecology related areas or directly enter employment in fields such as forestry, fisheries, park mgt, water resource mgt, agriculture etc |
