INTRODUCTION
As
the principle vehicle of communication and representation between students, tutors
and the local community, MIFET’s Students’ Union is involved in promoting
and improving

The Students’ Union consists of a Union President, Vice President and one representative
from each course. From these representatives, a Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer
are
chosen. Together they organise various functions throughout the year to
benefit both
the
students and the local community.

The Students’ Union also organises fundraising events for different charities
such as bed
pushes, head shaves, auctions, table quizzes, raffles, concerts,
karaoke and talent nights.
Seasonal celebrations include the Union’s Halloween
Ball, Christmas Party, St. Patrick’s Day
Float and End of Year Barbeque.
